This news server will carry feeds from the following news servers; "news.dbasetalk.com", USENET, Google, "readnewsgroup.dbase.com", and from the old news.dbase.com". More information about these groups and feeds are available on this web page.

News groups that these feeds have in common will be combined, such as dbase.codelib which exists or existed on three different servers, possibly four, and will appear just as dbase.codelib on the "news.ALLdBase.com" news server.

The groups from the old "news.dbase.com" news server, "dbase.announcements", dbase.customer-service", "dbase.talk-to-dbaseinc", "dbase.bug-reports", "dbase.wishlist", and "dbase.watercooler" will not be available as these groups are not really user help type groups but rather groups where dBASE Inc was represented as a company. In the case of "dbase.watercooler" from old "news.dbase.com" news server, it was of a non-technical nature and will not be available. Old posts to these groups are available on Google at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&group=dbase

News groups that do not have a server designator as its parent such as "spyware" or "members" from "news.dbasetalk.com" will not be available. Groups exclusive to "news.ALLdBASE.com" will carry the ALLdBASE parent designator.

All newsgroups are "Live". Meaning, you can post to any of them. Posting and feeds could have as much as an hour delay for the message to appear anywhere else other than this server. For more information on what groups and feeds are from where, see this web page.
